I just came back from Barcelona, and 20 degree sunshine, to the UK. Several things struck me: the cold, the signs only in English, the queues to (re)enter the country, and people in flip-flops, shuffling along, talking about food and sleep.
But mostly I just noticed that the signs were only in English.
